High Fees, Low Accountability: Arjun Panchariya Sindhu Highlights Major Failures in Bikaner Education System

This is Arjun Panchariya Sindhu, raising the serious issues that students are currently facing in Bikaner University and M.S. College. At Bikaner University, I completed the payment for the first-semester fees on time, yet due to continuous technical failures, there was no progress or update even after three days. When I contacted the technical team, they initially assured me that the issue would be resolved within 24 to 28 hours, but even after the given time passed, nothing changed and no proper update was provided. The situation became even more concerning when I tried to reach out again on the third day for help— instead of assisting, the technical team blocked my number. This clearly shows that the university administration has no intention of taking student problems seriously.

The official helpline timing is mentioned as 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, yet the reality is that the technical team’s phone remains switched off even till 9:40 AM. Such negligence is not just unprofessional—it directly affects students’ academic future and shows how irresponsibly the system is being run.

Now, talking about M.S. College Bikaner, the situation there is even more troubling. The college is charging ₹4000 for just one practical subject, without giving any valid reason or justification for such an excessive fee. When students or their parents ask the professors about this, they don’t receive any clear or satisfactory response. What makes the situation even worse is that 95% of the students here are girls from rural families, where fathers either work as laborers or depend on small-scale farming. Their monthly income hardly reaches ₹5000 to ₹6000. For such families, paying ₹4000 for a single practical subject—four times the regular exam fee—is an unbearable burden.

I directly question the administration—why is there complete silence on such serious issues? Why is no action being taken when students are suffering financially and mentally? These problems cannot be ignored anymore. I will continue to raise the voice of students, and wherever there is injustice, I will stand firm and speak for their rights.
